Description of door opening and closing:
The latch bolt on either side can operate the door, but only if the key or thumb turn doesn't make the dead bolt inoperative. The dead bolt can be unlocked by key from outside or by turning the inside thumb turn when the door is locked.
Remark: Typically, it is not necessary to lock the door,only individuals with the key are the administrator and cleaning staff.

The D&D 2 ball bearing butt hinge is available in grade 201/304/316 stainless steel material. It has a square corner and is template drilled. It has button tipped five knuckles and meets the requirements of BS EN 1935-Grade 13 and EN1634-260 minutes fire rating. It is also CE Marked. It is suitable for use on fire/non-fire rated/smoke check doors weighing up to 120 kg and comes with a suitable screw pack.

The D&D U-shaped "LEVER HANDLE" is 19*140mm in diameter and made of grade 304/316 stainless steel material. It has a rust resistance grade and a SSS finish. It is fixed on dia53 x 9mm size SSS finish concealed roses with Cylinder escutcheon. It complies with EN1906 standard, CLASS 4, and comes with a suitable screw pack.
03 SECURING-Mortise lock-DDML009
D&D Fire rated Sash Lock has a 55mm backset and a CTC72mm, with a square front plate. It is holed for a Euro-profile cylinder and an 8mm x 8mm follower. It is secured with bolt through hardware fixings and is compliant with British Standard EN 12209 Grade 3. It is CE Marked and has a fire rating of 240 minutes. It comes with a suitable screw pack.
Function description: The latch bolt can be operated by lever handles on both sides. The deadbolt is thrown and retracted from one side or both sides, depending on the type of cylinder. The cylinder action will function for both the deadbolt and the latch bolt. Deadbolt 2- rotates.

06 CONTROLING - Door closer - DDDC017
The D&D adjustable power size 3-4 is suitable for maximum door width ranging from 950mm to 1100mm and maximum door weight ranging from 60kg to 80kg. The size of the adjustable power is L248xW44.5xH72mm and it is made of aluminum material in a silver finish. It is CE certified and features a parallel arm, non-hold open function, and adjustable closing and latching speed. The adjustable power has a standard top jamb and is installed on the push side. It comes packed with a suitable screw pack.
