Description of the opening and closing of a door:

The outside trim can be locked or unlocked with a key. 

The inside trim or key outside operates the latch bolt when locked. Egress is always free within the inside trim.

01 HANGING - Hinge -DDSS001-ANSI-2

The D&D 2 ball bearing butt hinge can be made of grade 201/304/316 stainless steel material. It has a square corner and is template drilled with button tipped five knuckles. It conforms to ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 certification and is UL/cUL (3 hour fire rated) certified. It also has the UL Mark. It is suitable for use on fire/non-fire rated/smoke check doors weighing up to 120 kg. It comes with a suitable screw pack. 

02 SECURING & OPERATING – Classroom mortise lock -DDAL05-F05

D&D Classroom mortise lock remains unchanged. 

The trim outside can be either locked or unlocked using a key. 

When locked, the latch bolt can be operated by the inside trim or key outside. Trim is always inside for egress. 

The guard bolt locks the latch bolt when the outside trim is locked. 

03 OPERATING – Escutcheon lever trim (indoor trim without cylinder hole)-DDPD014

The D&D Escutcheon lever trim has dimensions of L210xW47mm and is made of grade 304 stainless steel material, which is resistant to rust. It has an SSS finish and includes a lever size of Dia22xL140mm. The outside of the escutcheon features a Mortise Cylinder hole, while the inside does not. It also comes with a suitable screw pack. 

04 SECURING - Cylinder-DDLC011 

For locking devices that accept screw-in cylinders, D&D offers a Schlage "C" keyway Rim cylinder with 6 pins. This cylinder has a size of L35 x Dia29mm. D&D also offers other sizes, so please consult them for more information. The cylinder is compatible with Schlage, Kwikset, Weiser, and Pin-in-pin system. It comes with a cam and a master key is available. 

05 PROTECTION - Door stop-DDDS001

The D&D floor mounted half-moon type comes in 44mm diameter x 25mm height. It is made of SUS304/316 stainless steel material with an SSS finish. The pack includes screws for fixing and a suitable screw pack. 

06 PROTECTION – Kick plate-DDKP001

D&D Kick plate, size the width of a kick plate 1-1/2” less than the width of a single door and 1” less than the width of a pair of doors. The kick plates should be 1" shorter than the bottom rail and secured with an appropriate set of screws.
